Diving parties can board Salutay at Portpatrick near Stranraer in Scotland or at Bangor, Co. Down and sail to the north coast of Ireland to dive at Rathlin Island, Portrush Skerries, Culdaff Bay and Lough Swilly. Visibility for scenic diving is 10 - 25 metres round the Malin Peninsula; or dive the east coast, Belfast Lough to Strangford Lough. We can offer you wreck diving from 15 to 60 metres.

We can also cater for parties wishing to dive the St. Kilda Isles and the West Coast of Scotland.

Facilities available onboard for Technical Diving, please ask for details.

Trips vary from 4 to 10 days.

All prices include your diving, food, accomodation, air and return trip to Portpatrick or Bangor.

Terms & Conditions Of Diving Trips

  • Please have your tanks filled before arriving at the boat as your dive maybe quite early first morning.
  • Weather premitting you get two dives per day except on the last day when there will be just one dive before returning to Portpatrick/ Stranraer.
  • SMB
    • All divers must have a delayed SMB to attract the boat's attention when diving in strong tidal conditions.
  • ACCOMMODATION
    • One four berth cabin with en-suite bathroom, one four berth cabin and one two berth cabin sharing shower and toilet room.
  • BEDDING
    • Please remember to bring your sleeping bag or duvet; we will supply one pillow and pillowcase.
  • ANCHOR WATCH
    • You may be called on to keep a two hour watch when the vessel is on an exposed anchorage.
  • WHEELHOUSE/ENGINEROOM
    • These areas are out of bounds unless asked to assist.


    Please try to keep the vessel ship-shape and in the same condition as you found it.
